The KBO, or Korean Baseball Organization, begins it’s 2020 season Tuesday morning at 1:00 am ET. Cash with Flash will be here daily to hopefully make some cash betting KBO baseball games.
There are five games on the KBO betting sheet and hopefully, we find some value on tonight’s slate.

The Korean Baseball Organization, or KBO, begins its 2020 campaign on Tuesday afternoon. The season consists of 144 games, and they usually wrap up their playoffs in late September or early October.
We have baseball to watch and bet on!
The KBO is a ten-team professional baseball league, and the Doosan Bears are the reigning KBO champions.
Keep in mind that South Korea is the reigning Olympic Gold Medalist. These guys are good baseball players, and this should be a fun distraction until the MLB season begins.
The rules are similar to their American counterparts except for games end in a tie after twelve innings of play, and fifteen innings must be completed before a playoff game ends in a tie.
Fans won’t be allowed to attend games, but the KBO hopes to relax this at some point this season.
It’s been rumored that ESPN will be carrying the KBO games this season, and hopefully, that will happen. It will be nice to see a familiar sport played “live” again.
Each team is allowed to sign three “imports” with the highly traveled veteran righty Dan Straily being the most well-known former MLB player. Straily will be tossing the ball for the Lotte Giants.
Home teams won fifty-four percent of their games, and that is significantly better than the fifty-three percent winning percentage MLB home teams enjoyed in 2019.
Each baseball team plays each other sixteen times during the regular season, and last season teams scored an average of 9.1 runs per game. The league average for home runs was 1.4 per contest and something to keep an eye on this season.
You’d think the pitching was awful with that many runs scored per game, but that isn’t always the case as fourteen pitchers ended the 2019 campaign with ERA’s of 4.00 and below. Foreign pitchers were more successful overall than their South Korean counterparts, boasting an average ERA of 3.27.
There are some excellent pitchers and a bunch of bad ones. If you can bet the games live, by all means, do. Especially in the later innings as no lead in the KBO is safe.
The average temperature ranges from the lower sixties in May to the lower eighties in August with May and June being rainy months. July is the wettest month, so be sure to check the weather before making any wagers.
Seeding matters in the KBO as the team with the best overall record gets an automatic berth in the Korean Series. The next four teams will also make the playoffs; in case of a tie, the team with the higher seeding gets the win. That makes every game essential and fun to watch.
MyKBO is the English speaking go-to site for all things Korean Baseball. They also have an app that provides up to the minute news, weather, and stats. The site has a complete player list, and that will be important if you desire to follow any of the foreign players.
The best way that I know of to make the most of the Korean Baseball betting season would be to buy my book “Betting Baseball 101: Winning at the Sports Books and Daily Fantasy Baseball”.
Everything you need to know to bet on the KBO is in this book. You can buy Betting Baseball 101 in either paperback or Kindle from Amazon.
You can also buy the Kindle edition of the book in the Phil Naessens Show store.
The rub with the Korean Baseball Organization is that if even one player is infected with the COVID-19 virus, the league will shut down for three weeks. That makes selling weekly and monthly pick packages difficult.
Cash with Flash has a daily, weekly, and monthly pricing schedule, but because of the genuine possibility of a pause in its season, we’ll only be selling our Korean baseball picks daily for the low price of $9.99 per day.
That’s half off of the standard, daily Cash with Flash price of $19.99, and a fair price to pay from a handicapper with the solid track record that Phil Naessens has produced over his handicapping career.
We would also like to invite you to our FREE, daily newsletter called the Daily Edgemaker. This newsletter is packed with all sorts of news and information that we feel will give you an edge on the competition.
Baseball is back, and it’s time to Cash with Flash!! See you Tuesday!!
