Day Five of the KBO, or Korean Baseball Organization season gets underway in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday. 4:00 am ET is damn early but it’s better than having no sports at all.
What did we learn from day four?
Visiting teams went 1-4 on the money line yesterday and are now 13-7 thus far this season. That number is inching closer to the 54 percent home win rate KBO teams enjoyed last season. It’s also something to keep an eye on moving forward.
Favorites went 1-4 on the money line and 11-9 for the season. The UNDER went 2-3 on Friday. The UNDER is now 12-8 after the first four days of the season.
There was a total of sixty-three runs scored on Day four, and that amounts to 9.1runs scored per contest and right on pace with last season’s average of 9.1 runs scored per game.

These are the odds for the Saturday, May 9 2020 slate according to Bet Now.
SK Wyverns (-140) vs Lotte Giants (+120) Total Ten Runs
That’s a high total we’re looking at tonight when the SK Wyverns face the home team Lotte Giants in game two of their three-game series. Lotte won game one by a score of 9-8 giving the Giants a perfect 4-0 record thus far this season.
The Wyverns are off to a slow start and will look to lefty Kim Tae-hoon to quiet the Lotte bats. Tae-hoon has made just eight starts over his nine-year career and has a career 1.51 WHIP and 4.56 ERA.
Veteran southpaw Jang Won-sam will be tasked with quieting the SK bats and he’s coming off a rough, injury-filled past couple of seasons. Won-sam has started 58 games over his sixteen seasons in the KBO with a 4.26 ERA and 1.36 WHIP over 1651.2 career innings pitched.
