Day Three of the KBO or Korean Baseball Organization season gets underway in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday. 2:30 am ET is damn early but it’s better than having no sports at all.

Tonight we get a bonus as each team plays a doubleheader with the second game tentatively starting at 5:30 am.

What did we learn from day two?

Visiting teams went 4-1 on the money line yesterday and are now 8-2 thus far this season. That goes against the 54 percent home win rate KBO teams enjoyed last season. It’s also something to keep an eye on moving forward.

Favorites went 3-2 on the money line and 6-4 for the season. The UNDER went 4-1 on Wednesday. The UNDER is now 6-4 after the first two days of the season.

There was a total of thirty-nine runs scored on Day two, equaling the opening day mark and that amounts to 7.8 runs scored per contest. This is well below last season’s average of 9.1 runs scored per game.

These are the odds for the Thursday, May 7, 2020, slate according to Bet Now.

Lotte Giants (+105) vs KT Wiz (-135) Total 9.5 Runs (-115)

This is game three of the series and the Lotte Giants have won both games and looking to sweep the Wiz. The two sides have combined to score twenty-three runs and have exceeded the total in both games.

Veteran Giants righty Park Se-Woong (0-0) will probably take the hill for the visiting Giants and righty Bae Ja-seeon (0-0) will likely look to get the Wiz its first victory of the season. Both pitchers are coming off plus 1.40 WHIP seasons so I suspect we’re going to see some runs scored.

Se-Woong is coming off a 3-6 campaign and surrendered just three bombs over and ended the 2019 season with a 4.26 ERA.

Ja-seeon finished his 2019 season with a 10-10 record with six home runs allowed over 131.2 innings pitched last season.
