Join the This Week and Tennis team as they discuss all the happenings from the Western & Southern Open and preview the 2020 US Open plus much more!
Hosts Craig Doyle and Phil Naessens are back for another week of great tennis talk.
The fellas open the show discussing how difficult Las Vegas set the money lines and how the best course of action in order to profit on the Western & Southern Open is to chase underdogs.
Phil and Craig than turn their attention to some of the great stories of the week; like Maria Sakkari, Andy Murray, Victoria Azarenka, and Vera Zvonareva just to name a few.
The guys share their thoughts on American tennis hopefuls Coco Gauff and Francis Tiafoe. Are they all hype, are they progressing and if not then why not. This was a lively discussion and one you won’t want to miss.
Will not having a crowd-pulling for them hurt young American hopefuls like Gauff, Tiafoe, Reilly Opelka, and others or will they be able to get through the tough matches without the fan’s support.
The fellas also discuss how strange it must be for the players; not being able to walk the grounds and hang out with fans, sign autographs and even a simple thing like not being able to leave the player’s hotel to have dinner must make this difficult mentally for the players.
Craig and Phil discuss the main draw and the uncertainty of the situation due to Covid-19 as it concerns betting on this event. The guys break down the entire player’s list as well as offer their favorites, long shots and everything else you need to win money wagering on this tournament.
